Leverages formal insurance training, state licensure, and deep expertise in managed care contracting & reimbursement analytics to optimize payer negotiations, mitigate financial risk, and maximize net revenue. Payors and providers have historically operated in an adversarial environment. Throughout my career, I have focused on bridging that divide. Having worked on both sides, I brought a unique perspective that helped providers navigate complex reimbursement challenges, optimize revenue, and avoid costly pitfalls. On the payor side, I held leadership roles in provider relations and network management, serving as the primary liaison responsible for building, managing, and strengthening provider partnerships. As an external partner, I had the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders across many of the Chicago area's leading hospitals, and I genuinely valued every interaction. It has been a privilege to be part of such a dynamic and impactful industry. While I look forward to the freedom and new opportunities that retirement will bring, I will truly miss the daily collaboration, shared purpose, and synergy with so many talented professionals. The relationships I've built and the experiences I've gained will remain among the most rewarding aspects of my career.
